Gardens and Plants with Phil Askew and Nicole Collomb, April 2013

Friday 12 April at 7pm for 7.30pm, Bullet Café, Robertson Street, Hastings. Free entrance.

The Gardens and Plants Drawing Project is relaunched with talks from two expert landscape architects:

Phil Askew was responsible for the landscape architecture for the entire Olympic site. Phil has a background in horticulture, landscape architecture and urban design. Using a combination of best practise science / ecology and horticulture he managed the transformation of acres of derelict wasteland into the many spectacular spaces which formed the Olympic Park.

Nicole Collomb was an initiator of MOVEABLE FEAST, the community garden in Western Road, St Leonard's. See http://www.moveablefeaststleonards.org.uk

Mary Hooper will talk about the Gardens and Plants Drawing Workshop coming up at the Beacon on Saturday 27 April. (See Workshops for bookings and further information.)
