RED, Trinity Gallery, Hastings, 2013

RED is SoCo Artists second exhibition of members’ work at Trinity Gallery. For this show, members have been challenged to make work in any medium but incorporating the colour red in some form.

Why red? Red is hot, the colour of blood, the flag of revolution, of ketchup, post boxes and sunsets. So visitors should expect some inspirational and thought provoking work from SoCo members, who have to contain the width of their work to within 40cm but with no height restriction. This will undoubtedly be a show packed full of surprises!

Exhibiting artists are:

Una Aldridge,  Paul Bartholomew,  Jennie Bayntun,  Lynne Bingham, Angie Braven,  Claire Buckley,  Patrick Burton,  Sinéid Codd,  Francoise Cooper, Roz Cran, Tim Cross,  Jean Davey Winter,  Judy Dewsbery,  Maryln Edwards,  Marilyn Hallam,  Jill Hartman,  Heather Hookey,  Helen Hunt,  Adrienne Hunter,  Nicola Jackson,  Geoff Johnson,  Grace Lau,  Gina Lelliott,  Rose Miller,  Mary Morris,  Jen Painter,  Anna Pontonutti,  Carly Ralph,  Katherine Reekie,  David Reeve, Kate Tudgay,  Harry Snook,  Nicola Urling Clark.

RED is open from 28 November to 11 December, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.00pm and Saturdays from 11.00am to 4.00pm, at Trinity Gallery, 8 Trinity Street, Hastings, TN34 1HG.
